Flourishment for Early Years

Flourishing for Early Years is a CPD track for nursery staff, childminders, early years teachers, reception leads, and settings leaders — the professionals whose work with children in the first years of life shapes the developmental foundations of everything that follows. Grounded in the intellectual traditions of Aistear, the Early Years Foundation Stage, and the international research on early childhood development — including the work of Bronfenbrenner, Malaguzzi and the Reggio Emilia approach, Bruce, Nutbrown, Trevarthen, and Pascal and Bertram — the track brings the five pillars of Flourish-ED into authentic conversation with the pedagogical wisdom of the early years sector. Each course pairs substantial research with practical daily application, and every participant receives the Flourish Journal — a companion document that grows with them across every course they take, becoming a personal record of their pedagogical development. This is not early years CPD that has been adapted from the schools sector. It is CPD written for the early years sector, in its own language, honouring its own traditions.
